This website presents a tool for analyzing, describing and monitoring broad prosperity in your city and region. ‘The story of the city & region’ helps you identify concrete action perspectives for sustainable development. Indicators and a dashboard can then be constructed for steering towards goals of broad prosperity. In addition, the website contains current knowledge and methods about environmental impact assessment, sustainable urban development and urban planning.
The story of the region
We would be pleased to engage with you on your region’s sustainable development. We go for a coherent approach to the economy, quality of life and protection of natural systems. The challenges differ from region to region, as does how regional cooperation takes shape. A region’s borders are not entirely fixated, but we assume it will likely operate based on cooperation between several neighboring municipalities.
The Sustainable City Foundation
Recently we start to set up the Sustainable City Foundation, in which various professionals work together to promote a transition to sustainable cities and regions.
Our activities focus on:
- Policy Consulting. Designing programs and concrete projects to initiate, continue and complete the transition to a sustainable city.
- Knowledge transfer. We organize workshops, supervise students, trainees and internship assignments.
- Project management of projects that make a region more sustainable.
